Terms of Service

Operator

This service is operated by the SourceSight team. For support, billing or privacy matters, contact support@sourcesight.app.

Support & response time

When you contact us at support@sourcesight.app, we typically reply within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). This is a guideline, not a service-level commitment. If an issue is complex or arrives during a peak period, we'll acknowledge receipt first and follow up with an update within a reasonable time.

Service

SourceSight provides AI search visibility monitoring and optimization. We hold the engine credentials, and query costs are included in the subscription.

Neutral monitoring

We do not interfere with or alter any engine's algorithms or rankings. Reports are based on snapshots, using a public, auditable methodology.

Fair use

Credits are counted monthly and paid plans reset at the start of each subscription month. Exceeding the limit pauses automated monitoring until the credits reset or more are added. The service may not be used for unlawful or infringing activity.

Subscriptions, annual billing and refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly or prepaid annually, anchored to your billing date (monthly = calendar months; annual = 12 calendar months). Within the same billing cycle you may switch to any tier: upgrades (Lite → Standard → Professional, including Lite → Professional) take effect once the prorated difference is paid; downgrades (Professional → Standard → Lite) take effect at the start of the next subscription month, can't be undone once submitted, and annual differences are calculated and refunded manually on the effective date with no processing fee. Switching between monthly and annual billing is not supported directly: to change your billing cycle, request a refund as described in the Refund Policy and buy again, or buy when your current subscription ends. Plan changes are not available while a canceled subscription remains active until its period end. Annual refunds follow the Refund Policy: consumed months are charged at the monthly price, a fee is deducted, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit limits are strictly enforced; we never bill overage.

One-time add-ons

One-time add-ons include credit packs, project packs and engine add-ons (including the 6-engine bundle). They require a Lite plan or above to purchase; you can't make new one-time purchases on Free. Add-ons are account-level entitlements: unused credit packs are refundable; project packs and engine add-ons are non-refundable once purchased; plan changes do not remove purchased entitlements, and on the Free plan they keep working (everything else follows your current plan). Engine add-ons only extend your monitoring scope inside SourceSight; they aren't affiliated with, and don't include, the engine vendor's own products, subscriptions, accounts or apps. After buying individual engine add-ons, the 6-engine bundle is completed at $249 minus the list price of engine add-ons already owned; once your engine add-on purchases total $249 or more, you get the remaining engines free, and we don't refund what you've already paid. See the Refund Policy for details.

Price changes

We may adjust the price of subscriptions and one-time purchases (credit packs, project packs and engine add-ons, including the 6-engine bundle); the price shown at checkout applies to that transaction. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any subscription price change via in-app notification or the email address on your account, and the new price takes effect only for the billing cycle after your current paid period ends; you may cancel at any time before it takes effect, and refunds after cancellation follow the Refund Policy. Price changes for one-time purchases are not retroactive: credits, project capacity and engine add-ons you have already bought keep their full value. Once a promotional or first-period offer ends, renewals and new purchases are charged at the standard price in effect at that time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

1. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, continuity, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or optimization outcomes.

2. Monitoring results, reports and AI answers are provided for reference only and do not constitute any promise or guarantee. You are solely responsible for any decisions made in reliance on them.

3. To the extent not prohibited by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount of service fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5. Any claim must be brought within 6 months of the date the cause of action arises; claims brought later are deemed waived.

6. This section survives termination of the Service.

Service interruptions and maintenance

1. We may maintain, upgrade, adjust or perform security processing on the Service at any time. Where practicable, we will notify you of planned maintenance in advance via in-app notifications or email; this does not apply to emergency maintenance or security processing, and advance notice is not an obligation.

2. Interruptions, delays, feature adjustments or content changes, whether planned or unplanned, do not constitute a breach of this Agreement and do not trigger any refund, compensation or other remedy.

3. In the event of an outage, our only obligation is to use reasonable efforts to restore the Service. Whether to re-run affected automated monitoring tasks is at our sole discretion.

4. We do not promise any availability level or SLA. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third parties (AI engines, payment processors, cloud providers, networks) or force majeure.

Account termination

1. You may request deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion, your license to use the Service terminates immediately and all account benefits are forfeited. If you have unused paid benefits, request a refund before deleting your account; refunds are handled according to the Refund Policy.

2. We may suspend or terminate your account and delete or restrict access to related data without notice in the following circumstances: (1) you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (2) you engage in infringing, fraudulent, abusive or other unlawful activities; (3) you circumvent credit limits, pricing plans or security measures; (4) you fail to settle overdue payments after being notified; (5) your use poses a risk to the Service, other users or third parties; or (6) required by regulators or law.

3. Except in emergency or unlawful circumstances, we will generally inform you within a reasonable time. Whether a cure period is provided, and its length, is at our sole discretion.

4. If your account is terminated due to your breach of this Agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy, paid fees are non-refundable.

5. After termination, data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. We are under no obligation to retain, export or deliver any data after termination.

Intellectual property

1. All rights in the platform itself (including software, code, interfaces, algorithms, methodology, brand, trademarks and documentation) belong to SourceSight.

2. The company information, keywords, questions and content you submit are processed only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process and transmit such content, and to use de-identified aggregate data to improve the product.

3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rights in reports, snapshots and optimization outputs automatically generated by the platform belong to SourceSight. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and deliver such outputs (including white-label delivery) in accordance with product functionality during and after your subscription.

4. Engine outputs, public data and third-party content included in reports and outputs remain owned by their respective owners, and you are responsible for confirming any authorization required for external use.

5. Without our prior written consent, you may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or use the platform, reports or outputs to train third-party models.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a material change occurs, we will notify you via in-app notification or the email address on your account, and update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; where applicable law requires separate consent, we will obtain it as required.

Third-party names and trademarks

The names, logos and trademarks of the AI engines shown in reports belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify the engines being monitored. SourceSight is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or acting as an agent of any engine vendor, and no engine vendor endorses or warrants this Service. An engine add-on only extends your monitoring scope inside SourceSight; it isn't affiliated with, and doesn't include, the engine vendor's own products, subscriptions, accounts or apps.

Governing law and dispute resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@sourcesight.app; if negotiation fails, either party may bring the dispute before a competent court at the operator's domicile.

Disclaimer

AI answers are inherently variable. Monitoring results are decision support, not a guarantee.
